The Portico Services Office supports and develops the Portico Student Information System

The Portico Services Team:

  • provides a high quality support service to students and staff across UCL
  • ensures that the Portico functionality is accurate, timely and reliable
  • involves the Users in the development and enhancement work it undertakes

We achieve this by:

  • running a Helpdesk service and listening to your feedback
  • constantly monitoring all of the functionality we provide
  • consulting widely across the user base for input into development work

PORTICO for UCL Staff 

The Student Information System - Portico - is used across UCL to enable Administrators and Academics alike to deliver UCL's programmes.

  • Enter module results
  • Progress and award students
  • Log studentships
  • View and report on students' records
  • View and confirm student module selections
  • View and reconfirm external examiner appointments
  • View personal tutees' records

PORTICO for UCL Students

Portico was designed to meet the needs of students with an on-line portal which allows you to:

  • Maintain contact details with UCL
  • Select modules
  • View exam timetables, and find out results
  • Pay fees on line
  • Re-enrol each year
  • Apply for Graduation Ceremony tickets
  • Plan and record skills development
