I have joined the lab in September 2013 and started my PhD project on the regulation of G1/S transcription in budding yeast at the chromatin level. My interest in G1/S transcription in yeast has become broader and now includes fission yeast as well. Currently I am investigating what are the consequences of deregulated G1/S transcription in fission yeast as a model organism.
