I have a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature, from Oxford University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Sciences (Interpreting) from Bristol University. I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in BSL/English interpreting, which led to my full qualification as a sign language interpreter, in 2002.
For ten years I practised as a community interpreter employed full time by a county council, developing special interests in mental health and legal interpreting. I am currently the Senior BSL Interpreter here at DCAL, and work four days per week.
