AAG 2014

From April 8-12, CPC project members Monsuru Adepeju, Chris Gale, James Haworth, Kira Kowalska, and Sarah Wise travelled with project leader Professor Tao Cheng to Tampa, Florida, to the 2014 meeting of the Association of American Geographers. The team presented work on the predictive policing applications of space-time scan statistics (Monsuru), demography (Chris), machine learning (James), spatio-temporal data mining (Kira), and agent-based modelling (Sarah).

Overall, the meeting was productive and allowed CPC members to share our progress with a community of practitioners. Many thanks to our colleagues at the conference for their kind attention and helpful comments!
