UCL Undergraduate Preparatory Certificate for Science and Engineering (UPCSE)
The one-year long preparatory certificate is also known as UCL's International Undergraduate Foundation Year.

Students who have studied A levels will not be considered for UCL's UPC courses.
All places have now been filled on UPC courses.
The UPCSE is a full-time foundation course in science and engineering for international students of high academic potential who are aiming to gain access to undergraduate degree programmes at UCL (University College London) and other top UK universities.
UPCSE students are prepared for a number of undergraduate degree programmes including: Architecture, Astrophysics, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Earth Sciences, Economics, Information Management for Business, Life Sciences, Management Sciences, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Medicine, Psychology, Statistical Science, and Urban Planning.

All UPCSE lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical laboratory sessions are delivered within the university. UPCSE students are registered as UCL students and have access to all UCL and University of London academic, welfare, social and cultural resources.

UPCSE Progression Scholarship
One scholarship per year is available to the highest achieving UPCSE student intending to study their undergraduate degree programme at UCL.
