The Conference Fund

Funding for Bridging the Gaps participants to publicise your research.

If you have an interesting interdisciplinary research project that involves sustainable urban spaces, and you want to tell the world about it, then this fund will provide up to £2,000 to cover the cost associated with presenting your work.

The Bridging the Gaps Conference Fund is available for previous Bridging the Gaps participants who want to attend, or who have recently attended, a conference that relates to cross-disciplinary work in sustainable urban spaces. There is no requirement to make a presentation, as long as you are attending a conference that is useful for your research.

Applications to the fund should be made using the on-line form, see link below. Please read the eligibility criteria before applying.

You should describe the conference, as well as your presentation if applicable, and show how attending the event will contribute to your cross-disciplinary sustainable urban spaces research. Funding is for future attendance, or attendance since June this year, at a conference or similar event.

Applicants should also provide details of what the event funding is required for, and give a breakdown of the costs: travel, accommodation, attendance fees and any other expenses.

The Conference Fund has limited funding, so the earlier you apply the more likely you are to be funded.
