Assessment
Q: What sort of assessments are used on Arts and Sciences?
A: You will be exposed to a wide range of learning opportunities on Arts and Sciences (BASc), including lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops, interactive groups and multimedia projects.
Both your pathway subjects and the language
component will be assessed by written examinations and essays. In some modules,
you will be required to give presentations and will have the opportunity to
work on jointly-assessed projects with other students and to participate in
assessed debates.
Q: Will Arts and Sciences students study together, or with other UCL students?
A: Core courses will be taken alongside your fellow BASc students. Courses pertaining to your pathways will be taught by specialist staff from across UCL, and will provide you with an opportunity to learn alongside students on other programmes.
