Engineering Foundation Year
Engineers use science to create practical solutions to problems. Robotics, spacecraft, skyscrapers, artificial intelligence (AI), medical innovations and computer chips all fall within the engineering field. In fact, engineers can make a difference to almost any sector or situation - could that be you? We'll help you to gain new knowledge, learn academic and study skills, and develop your confidence levels so you'll have what it takes to transform your life.
Who can apply?
The Engineering Foundation Year at UCL is for people from groups underrepresented at UCL who aspire to become engineers but do not meet the standard entry requirements for UCL’s undergraduate engineering degrees.
To apply for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet a mixture of academic and non-academic eligibility criteria, and be deemed eligible by UCL Admissions for UK/home fee status. Please review our Eligibility Criteria page to find out more. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
