UCL Teacher Conference

Programme

The UCL Teacher Conference will look at applying to competitive universities as well as how to provide accurate higher education information and guidance (HEIAG) to students. It will feature sessions on:

  •   Writing personal statements and academic references.
  •   The AccessUCL Contextual Offer Scheme.
  •   Visiting UCL departments and speaking with admissions tutors.

The event will feature from UCL staff including admissions tutors which aim to give teachers the most accurate and up to date information to support student progression to higher education. The full programme will be posted here when applications open.

Eligibility

The UCL Teacher Conference is free to attend, and aimed at teachers working in non-selective state secondary schools and colleges, with priority given to those that have the lowest progression rates to selective higher education. Funding for school cover costs is available, and accommodation for delegates who are not within a commutable distance to London can also be provided.
