We offer groups of pupils, accompanied by their teachers, a motivating introduction to university, designed to address the specific challenges facing their particular Year Group.
Visit UCL Days are fun, interactive visits to UCL, where students will have the chance to explore our campus, take part in exciting interactive sessions and find out what it's like to study at one of the world's top universities.
Pupils will take part in interactive activities, a tour of the UCL campus led by current students, and an educational quiz about different aspects of university. Events are free to attend, and there is a dedicated day for each year group with multiple schools taking part in the same day.
Places are limited and, as Visit UCL is an Access and Widening Participation initiative, we will prioritise schools who have a high number of students who meet our widening participation criteria. We encourage schools to select students who they feel may benefit the most from the visit, by considering factors such as free school meal eligibility and potential to attend university.
Visit UCL Days for 2023-24 will take place on the following dates:
- Year 11 - Monday 25 March 2024
- Year 10 - Wednesday 24 April 2024
- Year 9 - Wednesday 19 June 2024
- Year 8 - Wednesday 3 July 2024
- Year 7 - Wednesday 10 July 2024

- Deadline for applications to Year 11 day - 10am on Monday 29 January 2024
- Deadline for applications to Year 10 day - 10am on Monday 26 February 2024
- Deadline for applications to Year 9 day - 10am on Monday 29 April 2024
- Deadline for applications to Year 8 day - 10am on Monday 6 May 2024
- Deadline for applications to Year 7 day - 10am on Monday 6 May 2024
