- Reimaging Health Summer Programme (28 July – 1 August 2025)

A one-week programme covering the world of health start-ups and small businesses that are driving innovation in the digital health sector.
Using simulation and gamification, participants will gain an understanding of how to initiate a health-related start-up, the decision-making processes and the dynamics and competitive nature of the digital health marketplace for new products and services.
There will be an opportunity to meet health entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and app developers, as well as visits to health innovation spaces in London. The programme will also cover the importance of AI and data analytics for driving forward this exciting space for next-generation healthcare.
Participants will also get an introduction to the regulatory and investment environment for digital health technologies.

Dive into the world of cancer research with the UCL Cancer Institute's Summer Insight Programme. This two-day exciting opportunity invites Year 12 students who previously attended our taster days and other students who are interested in exploring and studying cancer. We offer you the chance to work with our state-of-the-art researchers in the lab and practice a wide range of techniques used in biomedical research. You will also work with the education team to gain an insight into applying to universities for higher education and learn about career pathways in cancer research. The UCL Division of Medicine is the largest department in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, forming one of the largest concentrations of biomedical scientists in Europe in one of the world's leading universities. We are excited to invite Year 12 and 13 students to attend our summer school in the first week of July 2025 and learn more about medical sciences. During these 3 days you will have the opportunity to join a practical, hands-on lab work experience hosted by STEM researchers working at the cutting edge of research and innovation.

UCL’s integrated Engineering Foundation Year (EFY) presents an opportunity to access and excel at your chosen undergraduate degree at the Fauclty of Engineering Sciences, including those that could lead you to the above fields and beyond.
At our taster day, you’ll get to explore UCL East and our facilities, including our labs; enjoy a practical, hands-on engineering activity based on teaching and learning on the EFY; speak to EFY students and academics; learn more about the different forms of engineering; and find out more about how the programme works, how we’ll support you, and insight into the application process.

Are you interested in a career in healthcare? Have you considered audiology? Audiologists work with patients who have hearing loss and help them improve their quality of life.
We are running a taster day to give you an insight into what audiologists do and what it's like to study with us at UCL Ear Institute, a globally renowned centre for audiovestibular education and world-leading research.
There will be sessions on UCL’s Audiology BSc, a three-year course that aims to train students to join the healthcare workforce as audiologists, as well as general information about the subject and what a career in audiology looks like.

UCL is excited to offer a Summer Taster Day welcoming students from diverse backgrounds, in Years 12 and 13, to explore issues of identity, activism and performance through a range of artworks spanning the ‘renaissance’ and the modern day.
You’ll experience what it’s like to study history of art at one of the world’s leading universities, examining artworks up-close in nearby galleries and engaging in lively seminar discussions led by our skilled tutors.
It’s a great opportunity to explore the subject and find out about the many diverse career paths offered by a degree in History of Art.
