Thinking of applying to the Disability, Design and Innovation MSc? Our UCL East London Scholarship works to support the ambitions of east Londoners by funding the fees and living costs of eligible Master's programmes at UCL. Eligibility criteria applies.
UCL’s East London Scholarship is open for applications for the 2024 academic year and offers people in east London free tuition fees and a £15,700 living allowance to advance their careers with a postgraduate degree from our UCL East campus on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park or our UCL School of Management in Canary Wharf.
What is the UCL East London Scholarship scheme?
The East London Scholarship scheme is open to students qualifying for home fees, who are interested in studying the Disability, Design and Innovation MSc or other full/part-time taught degree programmes in areas as diverse as digital innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, urbanism, health, finance, enterprise, history and the creative industries from September 2024, and who would benefit from financial help to study.
Who is eligible?
Eligibility is based on financial need as well as specific evidence of having lived or studied in east London. Applicants must have applied or already hold an offer for one of the eligible programmes.
Prospective applicants are advised to check full details of eligibility and how to apply for a UCL East London Scholarship, as well as supporting information, on the UCL Scholarship and Funding section of the UCL website. Two of the ten scholarships available will be reserved for current UCL undergraduates from east London who are interested, eligible and due to graduate this summer.
When is the deadline to apply?
The deadline for applications is 5pm BST on Thursday 20 June with successful applicants studying from September 2024 informed by late July – early August.
