Admissions

This interdisciplinary programme welcomes candidates from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds, and is suitable for students who wish to develop their understanding of the current debates in this field, either as a foundation for further research or to enrich their practical and professional contribution to the urban arena.

How to apply

To apply please visit:

http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/graduate/taught/degrees/urban-studies-msc

To find the course on the application system, please use 'urban' as a keyword rather than 'urban studies'. The programme is administered through the Department of Geography.

In many years we have had to close applications over one month before the deadline at the start of August so do try to submit your application as early as possible.

Entry requirements

Potential applicants are expected to have a first or upper second-class Honours degree in a relevant discipline from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Make sure you are clear why you are interested in this particular programme in the personal statement. You must also meet UCL’s language requirements - we require a ‘good’ minimum but ‘advanced’ is preferred.

Graduate Fee Schedule 2019-20

UK/EU Fulltime students:£10,720

Overseas Fulltime students: £21,790
