Notice of upcoming branch meetings: Lecturecast, Branch Rules and AGM

Save the dates for these upcoming UCL UCU branch meetings

This is a formal calling notice for the following upcoming branch meetings of UCL UCU:

Monday 25th March, 13:00 - 14:00

This meeting has been convened to facilitate a discussion on Lecturecast following concerns raised by members on being placed under pressure to record lectures. Members are also invited to submit motions for debate on any topic by midday on Wednesday 20th March. Please submit motions by email to ucu@ucl.ac.uk.

This meeting has been convened to discuss and vote on proposed amendments to the Branch Rules and Standing Orders. To change the Branch Rules and/or SOs, we need any proposed amendments to these to be received at least 14 days before the meeting. The proposed changes will then be notified to members by at least 10 days before the meeting. These dates are as follows:

1. Deadline to receive motions from members to amend Branch Rules and/or Standing Orders: Wednesday 27th March by 12:00.

2. Deadline to circulate motions to amend Branch Rules and/or standing orders:
Friday 5th April by 12:00.

We will be circulating information on how members can stand for election to the Executive Committee and Branch Officer positions, as well as submit motions, in the coming weeks. Please save this date in your diary for this meeting which is likely to be hybrid. There will be a Branch Social event on the same day.
