Reminder: General Meeting and General Secretary Hustings TOMORROW Tuesday February 20th

1 - 2 pm: General Meeting via zoom

This meeting has been called to debate motions submitted to the General Meeting of the 1st February, which were not concluded due to lack of time. These remaining motions and one amendment are listed on this webpage.  Members can register for the meeting via the link sent to them by email.  Background information to Motion 5 can be found here.

4 - 5 pm: General Secretary Hustings at UCL (Hybrid)

This will be a hybrid hustings and members can either attend in person in G13, 1-19 Torrington Place, or online via zoom.  To make the best use of time, please submit your questions on Slido in advance. Members have received links to the zoom registration and slido page by email. Each candidate will have a 1 min introductory statement and 3 minutes to respond to each question, so we should be able to cover about four questions within the 50 minutes. 

We will email the full list of questions to the candidates, and request written responses for all the questions we don’t get through. The chair will prioritise questions based on the number of requests/likes for that topic/question. 

After the hustings, we will invite the candidates to informally meet members at The Marlborough Arms at 5:15pm.
