The meeting is called to discuss the current ballot of industrial action over the national pay and conditions dispute, and the campaign to get the vote out.

If you would like to submit a motion to this meeting, please email ucu@ucl.ac.uk by 5pm, Tuesday.

If you would like to help the branch encourage members to vote, please also get in touch.

NB. We will hear a brief update about USS next week, but please note we will be organising a separate Special Meeting of the UCU branch on USS.

OUR PAY AND CONDITIONS BALLOT

In the meantime, UCU is balloting every eligible member of the union whose university is part of national negotiation machinery. It is very important that colleagues exercise their vote.

Please make sure you vote in the pay and conditions ('four fights') dispute.

The ballot opened on 19 September and will close on 3 November.

More information about the dispute and ballot is here https://www.ucu.org.uk/rising-ballotFAQs

The ballot is by post. Colleagues should look out for ballot papers, which will come to their home or workplace depending on your preference.

If you are unable to find your ballot paper, you can ask for a replacement ballot via this form: https://yoursay.ucu.org.uk/s3/ucuRISING-ballotupdate
