Ceasefire now demonstration, Friday 2pm, UCL Main Quad

In line with motions passed at the 27 October EGM and in support of the global day of action in solidarity with Gaza, we encourage staff to join a student-led demonstration at 2pm on Friday 17th November in UCL’s main quad.

The march has been organised by UCL Students for Justice in Palestine and UCL Climate Action Society, asking:

1. UCL to call for an immediate ceasefire.
2. For an end to the censorship and criminalisation of pro-Palestinian activism on campus.
3. UCL to cut all ties with arms companies.

UCL UCU is not calling for strike action (as we have not balloted our members) but we are calling for solidarity with this action, including attending the demonstration where possible.
