UCL-UCU: Seven Questions & Answers on the Decision by the HEC to continue action

We are aware that there is some confusion and concern about the Higher Education Committee’s decision this Friday, 17 March to not put the employers’ latest Four Fights (pay, pay gaps, workload, and casualised contracts) out for consultation.

We have used some of the questions members are asking and provided clear answers below. There has been a significant amount of misinformation in different media channels. So it is important to set the record straight that this was not a rejection of a genuine consultation of members.
