UCL-UCU: Climate Action Network Event - Duty Bound - 13 March 2023

We would like to draw members attention to the event below organised by UCL Climate Action Network Team science network. This is not a UCU-organised event, but support for action to tackle climate change is a UCU national Policy.

Monday 13th March there will be a pop-up photo exhibition called Duty Bound hosted in the UCL North Cloisters from 10:00 - 15:00. 

This exhibition depicts a range of science professionals who have chosen to take on climate activism and explores their motivations for doing so. It will be manned by the activists themselves who'll be keen to answer any questions, have conversations about the topic and give practical advice and pathways for staff and students interested in getting involved in activism themselves. 

It's a great opportunity to connect with activists in science and academia, so please come along to check it out and bring along any colleagues who may be interested!
