UCL-UCU: Demonstration Friday 24 February Outside HEC meeting - 10am onwards

This is a short note to encourage colleagues to attend the in-person lobby of members of UCU’s Higher Education Committee (HEC) tomorrow morning, Friday 24 February.
The purpose of the lobby is to remind HEC that UCU members have been taking hard strike action, express support for them, and urge UCU to take their input in decision making.
UCU London Region Executive Committee has called for a lobby of the HEC outside Carlow St HQ on Friday, assembling at 10am.
At our General Meeting today, members voted to support this call.
HEC is meeting in-person/hybrid at Carlow Street from 11am (nearest stations Camden Town and Mornington Crescent).
We fully trust members to engage in a respectful lobby, and remind colleagues that our union's staff are working in the building. They are employed to work for UCU, and aren’t UCU members.
