UCL-UCU: Reminder - Emergency General Meeting, Wednesday 5 April

We are accepting motions for this meeting up until Tuesday (4 April) 7pm. Please send any motions to ucu@ucl.ac.uk

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss:

1. The amazing success of the re-ballot for industrial action, and
2. The formal consultation on the two disputes (USS and Four Fights)

As you may be aware, the HEC voted to consult on both disputes, with a recommendation being sent out for colleagues to vote ‘no’ (REJECT) on the Four Fights consultation, and to ‘NOTE’ on the USS consultation. See our separate email on what UCL UCU Executive Committee Recommends.

The re-ballot success means employers will have been served notice of a Marking and Assessment Boycott starting in April.

We need to discuss what this means and the way forward in our disputes.
