Anita Rau

I am a second-year PhD candidate in Computer Vision at UCL. I hold a BSc in Business Mathematics from the University of Mannheim, and an MSc in Computational Statistics and Machine Learning from University College London. My research interests include machine learning techniques for depth and camera pose estimation for 3D reconstruction. More specifically, I explore techniques for assisting surgeons in navigating and planning within surgical environments. Because ground truth for these environments is rare, I also focus on methods for bridging the gap between synthetic and real data.
