An international conference on Social Values in Health Priority Setting was held on 17-18 February in London.

The aim of the conference was to begin to scope out the variety of values-based challenges and approaches faced by health policy makers in different countries, and to develop a research agenda.

Presentations were given by representatives from UCL and NICE in the UK, and from the World Health Organisation, and country specific presentations were offered by policy makers and researchers from China, Korea, Thailand, France, Germany and the USA.

Documents from the conference, including the agenda, a background paper, and a selection of presentations can be downloaded here.
