Fiorella Angelini – MA/MFA

As an artist, I am interested in how we perceive our context and the socio-political issues that affect nature and territory through photography. I use analogue photographs, videos, and installations to produce images that bring to the fore the uncanny through a poetic language. My work relies on the South American terrain and how (post) colonialism marks the landscape and the identification with it. I am interested in the concepts of visibility, latency, and memory.
