‘Wet walls’: Developing 4D moisture survey techniques for historic buildings
Background & Summary of Project
Scott’s research applies a range of non-destructive testing methods on historical stone masonry to develop 4D moisture monitoring techniques. More broadly, he is interested in considering built heritage as complex chemical systems to understand their physical transformation in response to environmental change, in order to inform policy development and conservation practice.
