New ISH & SEAHA lab at HereEast to open soon
25 January 2018
There is a new and exciting addition to the SEAHA facilities available for our students: the new Institute for Sustainable Heritage lab in Here East which will operate in addition to the Heritage Science Lab in Bloomsbury. Located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the new facility has three spaces for experimental work including imaging and a new home for the SEAHA Mobile Heritage Lab.
UCL Here East is a collaborative space that joins the The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment and the Faculty of Engineering Science. This means that SEAHA students will soon be able to work alongside other UCL researchers undertaking research in robotics, building physics and many other exciting topics.
Here East is easily accessible via public transport, from Hackney Wick (Overground) and Stratford (Oveground). A free shuttle bus operates between Stratford station and the Here East campus.
We hope it will become a well used resource for our staff and students. It will be fully operational very soon (currently planned for end of February).
