National Equipment Sharing Portals

If you are looking for a piece of research equipment and cannot find anything suitable in the UCL Research Equipment Catalogue, the following national equipment sharing portals may be helpful:

Equipment.data: A UK-wide portal for equipment data. Currently contains over 9000 items from more than 30 institutions.

Science & Engineering South Equipment Sharing portal: UCL is a member of the Science & Engineering South (SES) Consortium (along with Cambridge, Imperial, Oxford and Southampton). To promote equipment sharing within this consortium, the partner institutions have contributed a selection of equipment data to a central repository, and the list is available for searching (UCL login required).
