Research Interests
I am interested in the spin of donors in silicon as a potential qubit for quantum computation.
I am working on the manipulation of spins using mechanical means: from tuning the magnetic resonance via static strains to potentially coupling with mechanical modes dynamically.
Modelling the interplay between strain and spin dynamics is key in the description of nanoscale devices: strain is introduced at all material interfaces, and spin-phonon coupling represents the dominant spin relaxation mechanism.
Interesting fact
I am not a fan of the saying "sly as a fox", having once being caught in a fox trap myself.
