Research Interests
My research is on the incorporation of classical electronic circuits with quantum dots in silicon, with the aim of developing a scalable platform for charge sensing of many quantum dots with the limited high-frequency connectivity available in current dilution refrigerators. This is a key step towards enabling the readout of dense arrays of coupled quantum dot spin qubits. I am also involved in research into silicon quantum dots fabricated using standard processes from the huge semiconductor industry. If these techniques can be leveraged to produce high-quality qubits, the reliability and maturity of these processes will assist greatly with creating larger-scale spin qubit arrays.
