MRCPsych / CASC Courses

This innovative course brings together leading national and international teachers and takes a fresh and critical approach to the essential themes in contemporary psychiatry. The course incorporates critical appraisal, theme specific revision sessions, CASC preparation and mock exams. This updated course delivers objectives as specified by the latest Royal College of Psychiatry syllabus.

The course is organised by the UCL Division of Psychiatry. Lectures are delivered by leading experts in clinical and scientific disciplines. A dedicated core faculty ensures high quality teaching, efficient administration including weekly monitoring of attendance, and feedback from Trust Tutors, course teachers, and trainees. 

The Paper Ai and Aii course runs over two semesters (one academic year), and covers essential academic material for the MRCPsych Ai and Aii Examination papers. 

The Paper B and B-CASC course runs over two semesters (one academic year), and covers essential academic material for the MRCPsych B and CASC Examination papers.

Timings for Semester One - 2024

Registration Form

The course fees are £400.00 per semester.  Applications will only be accepted on receipt of a fully completed registration form with accompanying bank transfer of £400, or if a training scheme is paying directly, the signature and address of the person to whom the invoice should be sent.  Early registration is advisable, as places are limited to 50 students per semester.
