Sarah Davis

Research Interests

Sarah Davis joined the Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Department in 2008 as a research nurse. Her wide ranging role has involved working closely with patients and carers participating in psycho-social research studies, and with health professionals and key staff to facilitate research in a range of care settings. She has worked on studies in cancer, homelessness, advanced dementia and liver disease.

She is currently working on 2 different studies. A project to explore the use of sedation in specialist palliative care for people at the end of life, and a psychological intervention for cancer patients called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, in which she is doing a part-time PhD.
