Research Interests

My area of research is the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. My PhD is focused on how to measure quality of life, and what that measurement can tell us about which factors impact on a person’s quality of life. My primary supervisor is Vaso Totsika, and my secondary is Manuel Gomes. My research aligns with a human rights approach to disability and I am committed to participatory research methods and co-production. My PhD is in partnership with the charity Mencap where I have worked since 2019. Prior to this I was a Research Assistant in the Environmental Health Group at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (2016-2019).
