Research Interests

My PhD focuses on social support after a loss to suicide. Using qualitative methodology, I aim to better understand how groups of family and friends are impacted by suicide loss, and how they can best support each other through the bereavement. Alongside academic output, I will develop a free, publicly accessible resource based on my research findings.

My PhD started in September 2017 and is jointly- funded by the ESRC and the McPin Foundation, and I am supervised by Bryn Lloyd-Evans and Nicola Morant.
