Equity in Palliative Care - Professor Merryn Gott
Professor Merryn Gott directs the Te Ārai Palliative and End of Life Research Group based at the School of Nursing, University of Auckland. During this seminar, she will consider equity within the context of palliative care, drawing on research undertaken by the Te Ārai group in relation to gender, culture, and social deprivation. She will describe the methodological approaches the group use to promote inclusion of diverse experiences and discuss the use of creative methods to translate findings back to communities and practitioners.
