‘Co-production: Taken seriously?’

This session was organised collaboratively by members of the LEWG and other lived experience researchers. Co-facilitated by Andrew (PPI Lead) and Tamar (LEWG), the session started with a brief introduction to co-production principles, and our ways of working in the MHPRU. The room was set up in four circles of chairs, with LEWG members facilitating discussion. The interactive session was in three parts: exploring the benefits; the barriers; and ideas for further progressing work towards co-production principles in research. We have produced a short video summary of this workshop, and we are in the process of producing a written report of the key themes of the discussion – stay tuned!
