Naming, de-naming and re-naming requests

Members of the UCL community (staff and students) are invited to submit cases for naming or re-naming (including de-naming) using the following forms. Committee meetings will be scheduled when there is sufficient business for the committee to review, or at the request of the Provost. We anticipate that the next meeting of the committee will be in October 2020. Cases must be informed by scholarship and demonstrate significant community consultation. For names of central spaces, or spaces used by multiple departments, the Committee reserves the right to undertake wider consultation and / or to invite additional naming suggestions in advance of a decision.

Please use the online form below to submit your case. Please note the form is only accessible to logged-in UCL staff and students.

Before filling in the online form, please check you have all the necessary information and supporting documentation ready. Please access the PDF below for a preview of the questions included in the form. For queries, please contact e.bellshaw@ucl.ac.uk
