Our degree programmes start at around $33,000 per year for bachelor’s and $36,000 for master’s, and you can complete your bachelor's degree in just 3 years, and your master's degree in just 1 year. Undergraduate Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirements for undergraduate programmes at UCL can be found below. However, specific entry requirements for some programmes may differ and may also be higher. You should refer to the undergraduate prospectus which allows you to choose the relevant programme and then select your country from the list in the International Qualifications sections.
Minimum equivalent entry requirement for A level grades ABB (2024 entry)
Successful completion of two years of the Licenciado/Professional title at a Colombian university recognised by UCL, with an average of 4.5/5, will also be considered.
Graduate Entry Requirements
Entry to graduate programmes at UCL usually requires either an upper second-class (2:1) or a lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree. Please note entry to some doctoral programmes (e.g. MPhil/PhD) will also require a Master's degree. The entry requirements for individual programmes can be found on the graduate prospectus. The equivalent qualifications from Colombia can be found below:

- Licenciado or Professional Title with a GPA of 4.0/5.0
Lower second-class (2:2)
The award of any of the following from a recognised institution:
- Licenciado or Professional Title with an overall mark of 3.5/5.0

Undergraduate Preparatory Certificates
The Undergraduate Preparatory Certificates (UCL’s International Foundation Year) prepare international students for a UCL undergraduate degree who do not have the relevant qualification to enter directly an Undergraduate degree directly.

Scholarships
Colfuturo-Programa Crédito Beca
UCL values our long-standing partnership with Colfuturo-the Fundación para el futuro de Colombia, for students from Colombia who wish to pursue postgraduate studies at universities around the world through the Programa Crédito Beca programme.
We have welcomed a significant number of Colfuturo scholars undertaking Master’s and PhD programmes at UCL over the years and we look forward to continuing to do so.
UCL offers a contribution of 25% of the tuition fee to scholars whose tuition fees are paid by Colfuturo.
Colfuturo-‘Semillero de Talentos’ Scholarships
Working in conjunction with COLFUTURO, UCL also offers two scholarships worth 100% of the masters programme tuition fee to scholars sponsored by COLFUTURO under their ‘Semillero de Talentos’ award programme.
Applicants who are offered a place at UCL are then selected by COLFUTURO to qualify for the scholarship.

Living Costs
We know that you will want to carefully consider your finances when thinking of studying abroad, so we have created an overview of your potential living costs which we hope will help you plan and draw up a realistic budget.
Many of our students work part-time, and our Careers service and Student Union can help you find work. If you do plan to work, please ensure you’re abiding by the conditions of your visa.
Student Life
We have an active Students’ Union, which offers over 300 clubs and societies. This includes an active Colombian Society and UCL Spanish and Latin American Society.
The Colombian Society was established to explore and embrace everything about Colombian culture- from music, sociopolitical and environmental development, food, traditions and more-and is open to students all over the world. Established over a decade ago, the Spanish and Latin American Society was built on the premise of being a welcoming place for Spanish-speaking students and anyone interested in immersing themselves in Latin traditions and Spanish language across the globe.
