What attracted you to UCL?

UCL SSEES is a world-known faculty on my research topic. That’s why UCL was my only choice for my study.

What is your job title and where do you currently work?  

Managing Partner, ACT Venture Partners.

What aspects of your studies did you enjoy the most at UCL?

Access to state-of-the-art research material and great support from the academic team.

How did your UCL experience help you with your career?

I had the opportunity to practice theoretical knowledge during my UCL term in my daily profession by utilising state-of-the-art research studies at UCL.

I was a Chevening Scholar, which financially supports my UCL experience, and awarded as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the British Council in 2012. 

What were the most interesting things you did, saw or got involved with while at UCL?

The diverse background of the UCL SSEES academic team allowed me to gain knowledge of interdisciplinary studies and the theoretical fusion of various disciplines. 

What advice would you give to a student considering UCL?

UCL, as a city university, allows students to enjoy London’s rich experience as well as UCL’s excellent infrastructure. Few universities in the world can provide such an experience.
