UCL campus tours

Campus Tours

UCL's main campus in Bloomsbury, central London is a fascinating place to visit. As you explore the campus, you will get a sense of what makes UCL stand out – from our wide range of facilities, our excellent reputation, our pioneering history and our greatest strength, the students and staff who study and work here.

Coronavirus information

Due to concerns regarding coronavirus (Covid-19), we have taken the decision to cancel our campus tours and self-guided tours. The campus is closed until further notice.

You can still register your interest for our guided tours when they resume.

When do guided tours take place?

Tours run three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (excluding public holidays) and depart from the Front Lodge by the UCL Gower Street entrance.

What is covered on a guided tour?

Our Guided tours will give you an opportunity to ask general questions relating to the application process, how to apply or look for accommodation and what it is like to be a student in London and at UCL.

If you have specific questions about your preferred area of study or wish to arrange a separate visit to a department, we would recommend contacting them directly for further information or coming along to a UCL Open Day.

The tours will either be led by an experienced Student Ambassador or a member of staff. Some departments may offer their own tours, and please do refer back to these pages for further updates.

Please be advised that we are unable to include access to any UCL Halls of Residence during a Guided tour.

Disabled access

The majority of the UCL campus and entirety of the campus tour is fully accessible, but if you have any special requirements, please get in touch before you visit and we will be happy to help.
