Asit B. Biswas MD, FRCPsych is a Consultant Psychiatrist with the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and is a Training Programme Director for higher specialist training in Psychiatry of Learning Disability at the East Midlands Local Education and Training Board, UK. Other appointments held include Chair of the Faculty of the Psychiatry of Learning Disability Education & Curriculum committee of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, London and Chair of the East Midlands regional clinicians group in Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability. His clinical and research interests include management of challenging behaviour in people with intellectual disability and autism.
