What is the MPA and who is it for?

The MPA programme in UCL’s School of Public Policy provides a combination of rigorous academic training with cutting edge real-world solutions.

What is the MPA?

The programme addresses the needs of policy implementation and administration leaders who require management theories but at the same time have to consider the specificities of each of the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

Students will gain the essential knowledge and skills managers require in order to think creatively and to innovate in an ever more complex and constantly evolving multi-actor environment.

Programme participants will discover an excellent forum to assess their managerial skills and administration competencies with a view to improving their performance at work.

Who is it for?

The Programme is specifically designed for ambitious future leaders who want to make a difference in the management and administration of public sector and nonprofit organizations. Successful candidates tend to have some experience working with or in the public sector and have the drive and ambition to take on senior leadership roles (see alumni section).
