Michael Staddon awarded a Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) Graduate Fellowship
18 October 2019
Congratulations to PhD Student Mike Staddon, who has been accepted as a Graduate Fellow at Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) in Santa Barbara, where he will spend six months starting January 2020. Mike is a PhD student studying Cell and Tissue Mechanics in the Banerjee Lab.
The purpose of the Graduate Fellowship Program is to offer a unique opportunity for a select group of physics doctoral students to spend a period at the KITP, participate in KITP research programs, and broaden their pursuit of theoretical physics in areas of current research. KITP can play a significant role in the effort to broaden graduate education in theoretical physics and broadening their knowledge of physics in many areas at the frontiers of research.
