NEW PhD Studentship Opportunity in the Paluch Lab

4 February 2015

We are inviting applications for a 3-year studentship in to commence by October 2015. The student will be physically based within the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology (LMCB, http://www.ucl.ac.uk/lmcb) on UCL's Bloomsbury campus in Central London. The LMCB has significant cell biology, biophysics and imaging infrastructure.

The proposed research project aims to explore the mechanobiology of protrusion formation in animal cells using an interdisciplinary approach combining live cell imaging, electron microscopy, quantitative image analysis, molecular cell biology, and cell biophysics techniques including cell micromanipulation and laser ablation.

Applications have now closed.

New postings can be found on the IPLS Opportunities webpage (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/physics-living-systems/opportunities)
