The Francis Crick Institute is holding an afternoon workshop aimed at young researchers working at the interface between mathematical and computational modelling, physics and biology. The workshop's aims are to promote closer collaboration and networking between post-docs, PhD students and permanent staff with interests in these fields and who are working at a Crick partner institution.
The afternoon will consist of a series of short-talks, led by junior speakers, talks from invited speakers, Ben Simons (Cambridge), on Dynamic stem-cell heterogeneity and Florian Markowetz (Cambridge), on Quantitative cancer biology, and concluded with a poster and drinks session.
The afternoon meeting is to be led by post-docs, PhD students and permanent staff and as such we strongly encourage abstract submission for short-talks/posters from all of these groups. The abstract submission deadline is Friday 17th April and attendance is by registration only (see poster).
