New Philosophy faculty members

We are delighted to announce that several new philosophers will be joining our department, as permanent faculty members

Shai Agmon is currently a junior research fellow at New College, Oxford. His research focuses on political philosophy, including democratic theory, philosophy of competition, the normative limits of markets and legal philosophy. He will be joining us (and EISPS) as a lecturer in September 2025.
 
Clara Bradley is currently finishing her PhD in UC Irvine. Her research focuses on foundations and philosophy of physics, especially on the role played by different pieces of structure in a physical theory. She will be joining us as a lecturer in January 2025.
 
Sam Carter was based at the Dianoia Institute of Philosophy. His research focuses on philosophy of language and epistemology. He will be joining us as a lecturer in September 2024.
 
Giulia Cavaliere was based at the Dickson Poon School of Law in King's College London. Her research focuses on applied ethics, bioethics and political philosophy, with a particular interest in procreative decisions and preferences. She will be joining us in September 2024.
Peter Fritz was based at the Dianoia Institute of Philosophy and the University of Oslo. His research focuses on logic, metaphysics, and philosophy of language. He will be joining us as an associate professor in September 2024.
