We aim to improve the lives of children and families through setting standards and generating the best research into what works for children’s social care.

We have a programme of work, "Happier, healthier professionals", which uses nudge-like interventions to improve the wellbeing of social workers. We also run some light touch interventions with children and young people, for example, to wider participation to university.

We currently recruiting on a rolling basis for a quantitative researcher (https://whatworks-csc.org.uk/whats-new/jobs/jobs/). The application process involves submitting a covering letter and CV, an interview and a short (45 mins) take home exercise.
