Research in this theme covers basic neural mechanisms of perception, learning and memory, using brain stimulation and recording, pharmacology and optogenetics in rodents, and non-invasive methods such as brain imaging in humans. Research interests include auditory and visual processing and spatial cognition, in both cortical and subcortical domains.
