Psychology-based Entrepreneurship Training

This research stream investigates the effects of psychology-based entrepreneurship training on entrepreneurial performance (e.g. business profits, innovation). Specifically, we are comparing different psychological interventions for entrepreneurs through Randomised Control Trials (RCTs) and we investigate moderating and mediating mechanisms that may drive effects on entrepreneurial outcomes.

Current & future research questions:

  • Can entrepreneurship be taught? How can we create more effective entrepreneurship training interventions?
  • Why proactivity matters in entrepreneurship? How proactivity drives entrepreneurial performance?
  • Entrepreneurship training and wellbeing: How can psychology-based entrepreneurship training help entrepreneurs overcome psychological constraints?
