The Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP)

A logo detailing The Lived Experience Advisory Panel

The Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) is a group of people with lived experience of mental illness, who offer advice and guidance to the ODDESSI project. Members of the LEAP offer their expertise by experience to try to ensure that the ODDESSI trial is relevant, important, and meaningful for those who are experiencing a mental health crisis and their family.

The LEAP meets three or four times per year, with meetings led by ODDESSI co-applicants Dr Sarah Carr and Corrine Hendy. Panel meetings include discussions about the progress of the project and for members to offer advice on any issues that have arisen.

The Remote Working Guidance Group

Following the announcement of the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of remote working on the ODDESSI trial, a Remote Working Guidance Group was formed. This group was made up of ODDESSI researchers, service users and cares, clinicians, and experts in the field of Open Dialogue to provide guidance to teams in the trial.
