Katalin Hajdu

Trainee Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy Student)

Katalin Hajdu

I have spent a lot of time at UCL before starting my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology as I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology as well as a postgraduate certificate in Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy here. I have also worked as an Assistant Psychologist and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within this time in various London boroughs.

Having spent so much time at university, I have seen the impact that such a demanding environment can have on students and I think it is crucial for universities to take active steps to promote student wellbeing. I have been involved in several projects investigating and utilising technology and online resources in supporting people’s mental health in the past. As part of PsychUP for Wellbeing, I am hoping to extend this interest to explore the impact of online activities on the mental health of students as well as contribute to efforts to provide support through online resources.
